He won Michigan Emmy Awards in 2021 and 2022 for his camera work on Great Lakes Now at Detroit PBS. Doug Clevenger is the FAA Part 107-certified pilot and aerial cinematographer behind Dogstar Imaging, a Chicago aerial video production company. Flying the DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 gimbal, Doug captures 6K footage in Apple ProRes and CinemaDNG Raw using a set of four cinema prime lenses. The DJI Mavic 3 Cine rounds out the fleet for nimble, high-quality aerial coverage in tighter locations. Fully insured and licensed for both day and night operations, with dual and single-operator configurations available. Serving Chicago and the surrounding suburbs for real estate, construction, events, commercials, and film productions.

Doug Clevenger is an accomplished underwater cinematographer with extensive experience shooting in pools, aquariums, lakes, and open water environments. Whether it's an aquatic commercial, a documentary sequence, a music video, or a narrative film, Doug brings the same technical precision below the surface. Experienced with underwater housing systems and specialized lighting setups, Doug delivers crisp, cinematic underwater footage for productions requiring a specialist who can operate confidently in challenging aquatic conditions. Available for underwater shoots throughout the Chicago area and beyond.

We utilize state of the art broadcast equipment. If your project requires specialized equipment that we don't own we are able to source it. Many of our producing partners appreciate the convenience and peace of mind that comes with one-stop-shopping.

Cameras include Sony FX9 and FX3 packages. 

Lenses include a Canon 50mm prime and Canon 16-35mm, 24-105mm and 70-200mm IS II zooms, run on the Sony bodies with a Canon EF to Sony adapter. Also Sony prime lenses, ENG and variable zoom.

Camera support includes Sachtler tripods, a Dana Dolly, a Ronin RS3 Pro gimbal, a Tilta Hydra Alien Vehicle Mount Kit.

Our lighting/grip packages feature Bi-Color and RGB LED Sources. Every project is different, and every project has unique lighting needs. We have the basics covered and scale up according to need. For larger projects we partner with expert gaffers. LED selections include the Aputure 600c, Amaran 300c, two Amaran 200 Bi-Colors, Amaran 60x, Amaran Spotlight SE Kit, Quasar Lion Kit, ARRI Fresnel Kits and Litepanel Astra Bi-Color Kits.
